Horton Hears the Holy Ghost?

Ok... so maybe this was a bit of a stretch, but... it just happened to be Dr. Seuss week and I knew the girls would be doing neat things at school, so... I wanted to do fun things in Activity Days!

I, of course, started out by reading "Horton Hears a Who".  When it was over we talked about how Horton knew that he heard something even though he couldn't see it.  Nobody believed him because he had something they didn't.  Horton and gigantic ears and we have the Holy Ghost.  We know that the Holy Ghost wouldn't led us astray.  We know that because of our baptismal blessings we are able to have him around whenever we may need his guidance.  There may be times we feel that inspiration when around our friends who are not fo the same faith.  They may laugh when we choose to not watch a certain movie or even wear certain clothes.  This doesn't mean that they are bad, it just means they don't have the benefit of the same teachings that we do.

"If I Listen With My Heart" Activity Day

Since I painstakingly figured out a Heart Yo-Yo pattern I decided to take it to Activity Days and teach my girlies!  They have been asking to make hair pretties so...  I will admit that this Activity was totally based around the craft, not the other way around!

Pollyanna Activity

This past sunday I had some silly kids looking on the downside.  While it happened to be NONE happened to be girls from Activity Days I still felt impressed to do an activity on happiness!  I feel that it is large part a choice to be happy.  And so... The Pollyanna Activity was born!

Get to Know You Bingo {With STRAWBERRY Ice Cream}

Ok.. You would think that after being a Primary President NOTHING would scare you, but I admit, I was totally nervous about my first night.

When thinking of what to do, I remembered seeing this post around blog land.  I decided to do my own variation of that.  Who can't love someone who lets them eat Ice Cream!  Even if you are forced to make it yourself.  But first... the activity!

Operation Secret Service

This was only me second Activity Days, so I decided a little help from those who've been doing it was still in order!  I saw this post by Fickle Pickle on Facebook and LOVED it.  But.. I have this disease.  I felt like since I was using her idea I needed to create my own stuff for it so that I would have done some of the work...  Yeah... I'm crazy.
