2016 Free Printable Planner

CLICK HERE for the 2017 Planner!
The long awaited 2016 Printable Planner!  I think this years is my favorite!

Now... Please remember that I AM giving this for free, but I do work long and hard on it.  It takes me several hours to get the fonts, dates, colors.... everything the way they are.  As it is... I am sure it isn't perfect!  I fix mistakes and update as they are found, but... I am human!

Seeing how much time I spend on this my husband and family think I should charge.  Personally... I have always offered this for free and I am SURE that is the only reason it is so popular.  But, he is right.  I spend a lot of time on this.  Most printable planners go for anywhere between 10 and 30 dollars on Etsy.  So this year I will be simply asking for donations.  IF you like my planner I am just going to use the honor system and ask that you donate what you think it's worth. Please click the link below!  It's Paypal so it's super easy to do!

Now... On to the planner!

HOW TO PRINT
I print everything front to back (2 sided) on my printer.   If you do not have a printer that will print on both sides I recommend either manually flipping your pages OR hopefully you have the option to select all even pages, then flipping, then selecting all odd, and print.  Maybe you can manually type in to print 1, 3, 5, 7...  then flip.
This is the new opening page!  I keep my planners thought the years.  To me they are almost like a journal.  I like seeing where I was on different dates and comparing.  Sometimes I even go back and write in something that happened on a day that passed.  It's interesting to see how I use my planner and how it changes for me!
The monthly/weekly portion are saved in two downloads.  January to June and July to December.  They are very large files and I have a hard time getting them to download to the site I save my printables on.  But here is a view of the monthly calendar!  I kept it VERY much like last year, because I like the size and I used the goal portion.
Here is a view of the weekly!  I actually really liked my layout from last year so the only thing I took away was the water droplets to track that you were drinking water.  I just felt like the page was super cluttered and I am super bad at tracking water.
The square with the shopping list is the right size to place a post-it note.  I LOVED this part!  I put post-it notes on all my pages when I put my planner together.  I do my meal planning on Sundays so it was nice to have a place to meal plan and shopping list all in one.
I switched up some of the quotes, others I kept because I really liked them.
Other than that everything else is the same as last year, just with a different font and colors.
This one most would print and place before monthly calendar.  I like mine after.  I placed this as a separate printable so you could put it where you like!
I revamped the monthly budget pages.  These are printed with 3 pages of Daily Expense tracking sheets.  Print 12 sets, front to back, so you have one for each month.
Cleaning Checklist!  I didn't create one last year and I wished I had.  I usually print about 4 of these as my life, family, and the time of year can drastically change my cleaning schedule.  If anything, writing it down helps me to remember what I decided to do.
Alright!  I understand that writing down your passwords and such is probably not a fabulous idea, but...  I don't write down ANY of my passwords that are vital to financial security.  I use this more for my Netflix password or any random sites that have me create a password just to buy something.
THIS one is my favorite.  I always have a long list of projects to get done.  This is a great way for my to have a running list and decide which one really needs to get done next.
I know this seems like a silly one, but...  It is fabulous for meal planning.  We have family favorites and ones that I enjoy cooking and ones that I know the kids can cook.  I just put their initial by the meal they can cook.
Here are a few note pages.  Depending on how you like to put your planner together I usually put a ton at the end.   This year I left a skinny space at the bottom with no lines for doodling or randomness.  I don't know why.  I just felt like it was a good idea.

To download just CLICK the kinds ON THE WORDS BELOW.  It will open another window and you just have to save it to your computer from there.  This also gives you the option to view it before downloading to see if it is something you would really like!

Please let me know if you find any mistakes and I will try to fix them quickly!  Again... If you like my printable I ask that you donate this year so I can continue to keep this going!  I do work hard on it.  Hope you enjoy it!

Freezer Inventory

I recently have gotten into making freezer meals.  I put several together on a Saturday and then I have several healthy meals ready to just put in the crock pot or oven when its dinner time.  It has helped to speed up dinner.    But...  I thought I probably need to list what I have and what I use so that I will be more efficient every time!

I usually make about 4-8 of each meal.  They are good for about 3 months.  I figured this will help me keep track of what ends up being used more and what needs to get used soon!  If I make 8  I will cross of 9 and 10 so only 8 is showing.  Then when I use a meal I will cross of 8....  You get the picture.

While I created this for my freezer meals it could work to inventory your whole freezer.  Personally....  I would have hopes of doing that buy... realistically...  Yeah, not gunna happen.  LOL

I created this to match the 2015 Printable Planner.  You can put it in with that or magnet it to the front of your freezer!  What every you choose!  Scroll down to get the printable.

How Long to Keep Important Papers Printable

Hello!  Just a few days ago I posted my printable for our Family Emergency Binder.   It has everything you might need in it if you were in an emergency and had to uproot quickly.  Or...  If you are a military family like us, it is simply nice to have everything paper-wise and important in one easy grab and go location.

I thought I would create a simple sheet for you to have or put in your binders that lets you know what papers to keep and for how long.  Keep in mind that you may have different circumstances that require you to keep certain things for long.  This paper is a good general rule for everyone.  I got most the information from the IRS website.

Family Emergency Binder

I have been using a binder for all our important paperwork for several years now.  With my husband being in the military it is nice to have one easy place to grab important paper work.  Its nice when we are moving too!  I know that everything we could need, by way of papers, is in one place and won't get packed!  Unless the bind gets packed.

In our house we call it the BIG BOOK.  Big Book holds everything from shot records to family photos.  I did a post a while ago call VIP Papers.  I recently decided it was just time to update and go through the whole thing.  Of course in the process I did more research.  I took away some stuff and I added other things.  I thought I would share the new printable with you!  Link is at the bottom of the post.  Along with instructions.
Here is the cover I created.  Feel free to print this one or create your own.

Included is a Master Check List so you have one easy place to see what is actually in the Binder.  I would print this on white.
Every section on the Master List has a Divider Sheet.  I would print these on colored paper so that they are easier to see when you put them into page protectors.  I use washi tape to create tabs
Included is also a Emergency Car Kit Check List, a 72 Hour Emergency Checklist, an Emergency Bin Check List (for things to big for the 72 hour kits), FEMA Evacuation Guidelines, a How-to Prioritize a Grab and Go List, A Grab and Go List, and Emergency Info sheet.
You may want to print extra 72 hour sheets and Grab and Go Sheets to you have one for each family member.
I also created a simple ID sheet so you have this easy info on each family member.  I would create two copies of these and keep them together in a page protector.

Once you get there just right click and print!

I hope this helps some one get a little more organized!

2014 Planner Printable

CLICK HERE for the 2016 Planner Printable!

I am a sucker for printed planners.  I always have been, but since being married and having kids there was a point where I slipped away from them.
One year I decided to create a blank planner printable for my husband who has used a printed planner ever since I have known him.  And since I was making one for him I decided to make one for me
I was rehooked!  I have no clue how I stayed organized without one!

He recreated a monster.  That was 2012 and for 2013 I decided I wanted something a little bigger and opted for an Erin Condren Life Planner.  LOVE IT!  So cute, perfect size, and great quality all wrapped into one amazing planner!

For 2014 I wanted to go the Erin Condren route again.  But I was a little late in ordering and it wouldn't even be shipped until Jan 9th by the time I looked at it!  How would I stay organized until then!  My children would run about willy nilly and our meals would consist of PB&J for breakfast, lunch and dinner!  So I decided to go on Etsy and check out the printables for sale.  I figured this way I could customize the pages a little more and it would cost less than a Life Planner from Erin.

While browsing Etsy I expressed my plight over not being able to choose. And feeling guilty for paying for something I would still have to print and could have create myself.  Then there was fact that none of them were quite perfect for what I wanted and I would have to mix and match planner styles.  It wouldn't match!  So my husband opened his big mouth.
"Why don't you just create your own?"
I have plenty to do.  I didn't want to make a printable.  It takes time, I don't think I am that great at it and  I seriously need a new computer.  And plus I want the dates printed on the page.  I don't want just blanks that I fill in.  Call me picky.  It would take forever to do that myself.
Then my husband opened his big mouth again.
"Ok.  I just know you will like it more if you make it. I KNOW you can do a great job. You are amazing."
Silence on my end while I rev up for the idea...  And husband realizes that I am beginning to change my mind and that I will spend hours on the computer making something perfect but that I didn't want to initially.  He opens his mouth again.
"WAIT!  You don't have too!  Spend the money please.  Save yourself sometime.  You are... also great at adapting and you will love whatever you find and put together on Etsy!"
To late hubs... you have create a monster who then spends hours creating herself the perfect planner and then posts it on her tiny blog in hopes that at least one other person will use her hours of work besides herself.   But it's OK!  We watched the entire next season of Sons of Anarchy and a few episodes of House of Cards and I only neglected my children for a little bit.
AND NOW TO MY PLANNER!
The following pages I printed on 8.5 x 11 24 Lb paper and selected borderless when printing.  Not sure about how your printer works.  Play with a few pages before you go to crazy.

ALL DOWNLOADS ARE AFTER EACH DESCRIPTION
AND AT THE END OF THE POST!!!
To start there is a brief info sheet.
Followed by a two page spread of a month...
...and then all the weekly pages that follow that month.

The monthly and weekly printables are all in order.  You just have to print front and back.
There are in two seperate downloads to keep the file size small.
Like I said... my computer is slow and 7 years old.
P.S. I printed my January to June before triple checking all the spelling....  Apparently it's the year TwentyFOUteen for me.  LOL  I fixed it for you.

Since I was creating my own planner and had search Pinterest and Etsy like a MAD woman (because all the best people are mad right?) I knew there were a few extra sheets I would like to add.  I will put them in the order that I printed them for my planner.  Most likely you will want to rearrange them for yourself!  Chances are I will before getting it bound!
Special Dates are on 4 seperate pages.  I printed these front to back.  These are so I can remember birthdays and anniversaries or holidays.
Budget Planning - There are 4 sheets in this.  One monthly budget sheet and then 3 expense tracking sheets. We are Dave Ramsey fans in our house.  He has helped us to stay debt free!  I printed one set for each month.
Favorite Recipes - We do family dinners at our house.  Since my hubby works a 24 on 24 off work shift at the fire station we don't get to see him much.  But we are allowed to bring him dinner!  But with piano, karate, birthdays, church activities...  we get busy.  Writing down a list of our favorite recipes is just one of my quick ways to schedule my weeks in the planner.
Meal Planning / Grocery List - Many of the planner printables I found on Etsy had an individual section  just for meal planning.  I created one thinking I would use it, but...  I will use just a Favorite Recipe List and place them right onto my weekly planner pages.  Just easier for me.  But I made the sheet so I had to share.  SOMEONE use it PLEASE!
Cleaning Checklist - I printed only one of these with a notes sheet on the back.  This is more so I can look at it and know what needs to be or already has been done.
Auto Maintenance - I am horrible at remembering things like this, but since the hubby is gone so much I am the one that keeps track of things like this.  Neither of us are super mechanical so an auto maintenance sheet will be useful (I think...).  It has a notes sheet on the back so you can track anything else I didn't include.
Babysitter Checklist - I loved this idea!  Especially since we make a habit of moving around a ton AND have a 4 year old who seems to love bi-yearly trips to the ER.  I printed 10.  Hopefully we go on that many dates!  We are stay in, drink fancy hot cocoa, grab a Redbox and snuggle type of people.  It's cheap!  Just like me. (But my husband hates it when I say that.  He says I am not cheap I am thrifty.)
Contacts - Um... to write down the names and numbers of people or places.
Password Log - To help me keep track of passwords and kids log ins for school.
Blog - You never know... with all this planner organization I just might remember to post something besides this planner!
Random Ideas - This is more a of TO DO list.  I have one side for household things (ex:Create new sewing table from Treadle or Reorganize winter hats and gloves.)  The other side is for random things! (ex: Finish quilt for baby shower or clean toys in the church nursery.)
Notes - You may recognize this sheet because it is included with a few others.  I wanted extras of these for random note taking.  Like... when meeting with a teacher or writing down that cute clothing website a friend recommended.

Here is a list of all the printables found on this post!
Print and Enjoy!
